Interwood was established in 1974 and has since become Pakistan’s most trusted name in high-quality furniture. Today, it is widely recognized as an industry trendsetter offering a complete range of home and office furniture, kitchens, flooring, accessories and bespoke furniture. Interwood also caters largely to mega-scale projects with its trademark interior-designing solutions to a variety of sectors from local luxury residential projects, malls, hospitals, schools and airports, to multinational corporations, international hotels, and institutions in USA, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.


Challenge


Interwood faced a lot of challenges with their initial e-commerce store that was built on the Adobe Commerce (Magento 2.0) platform. Their e-store was hard to handle at the backend by the internal team. Any time the company wanted to add new functionality or features, they would end up requiring development work from external resources.

Another key enhancement was added by installing and setting up Parcelify App allowing Interwood to show different shipping rates based on customers’ location.


Smooth Migration of Backlinks

Hesitancy to switch to Shopify was also addressed by meticulously and carefully migrating all previous backlinks and SEO efforts on the new platform.
